There are a variety of places in Bells that you can start your progress notes. 

If you had to guess… how many places in Bells do you think there are to start a note? 

Two? Five? Twenty?

If you guessed more than eight… you'd be right! 

 

Here's all the places you can start a note in Bells! 

Patient Card - The patient card shows on dashboards/multi-patient displays in Bells after you've accessed the patient's chart. When you hover on the patient card, the button to start the note shows. 

Dashboard Start Note - At the bottom of the Dashboard is the Start Note button. The options available in the 3 dot menu depend on your EHR and Organization Settings. 

Patient List - When you hover on a patient row in the Patient List the start note button shows.

Agenda/Appointment displays - The start note button shows in the bottom right corner on Agenda Appointment cards in various widgets throughout Bells. 

Patient Chart - The patient chart start note button shows in the top right corner of the patient chart display. The options available in the arrow down menu depend on your EHR and Organization Settings. 

Group - On the Group tab of the Patients / Groups section you can start a note for the group. When you hover on a group row in the group list the start note button shows.

From a Mobile Session - When a session is started on the Bells Documentation Assistant mobile application the session shows in the Chart display under Open Sessions. 

Clicking on a note row in the Open Sessions display opens the start note session information. 

From a Scribble with a mobile session - When a session is started on the Bells Documentation Assistant mobile application and is associated with a Scribble, the note can be started from the scribble display session detail pane on the right side of the scribble.
