Bells Web App Release - 2023.12.21

Summary

  • Introducing Group Notes for myEvolv users!
  • myAvatar and myEvolv, added capability to configure Goals to require a minimum selection level.
  • Assorted bug fixes. 

Group Notes

  • For myEvolv users, we've added the ability to write group notes.  Group notes are synced to myEvolv once all notes for the group are signed in Bells. myEvolv release 11.0.0100 (available in January 2024) is required to enable Group Notes. When you have upgraded and would like the feature, contact your Bells team and we'll turn it on! Then simply configure the note type each group will use. Detailed documentation is in the Group Notes User Guide article.

Goals 

  • For myAvatar and myEvolv users, the minimum Goal level required to sign a note must be configured. This setting will prevent notes from being signed with less than the required Goal, Objective or Intervention level being selected in the note.  The configuration is defaulted to the Goal level.

 

Audit Review

  • For CT|One users, voided notes are no longer considered when evaluating notes for similarity or overlap.

Summary

  • For myAvatar users, we've added the ability to filter the myAvatar Note Type selection when starting a note. 
  • Updated the way checkbox question types show in the progress note. 
  • Introducing a new validation for No Appointment, No Note.
  • Updated the Span Midnight validation to now configure services that are allowed to span midnight. 
  • Enhanced the validations that include configuration that allows users to change to another service type.

Progress Notes

  • For myAvatar users, we've added the ability to filter the myAvatar Note Type selection when starting a note. Bells administrators will find a new configuration under Organization Settings for “Filter myAvatar Note Type by” and the toggle can be set to program or form. When set to program, the start note flow does not change and will continue to function as it does today. When set to form, the myAvatar note type selection when starting a note will be filtered by the staff starting the note as well as the Bells note type selected. 
  • Updated the way checkbox question types show in the progress note. The checkbox now shows to the left of the label instead of under the label.  

Validations

  • Introducing a new validation for No Appointment, No Note. This validation allows Bells administrators to configure services to be required to start from an appointment or the note cannot be started. 
  • Updated the Span Midnight validation allow Bells administrators to configure services that are not allowed to span midnight (existing functionality) or services that are allowed to span midnight. 
  • Enhanced the validations that include configuration that allows users to change to another service type. Prior to this change, only 3 services could be configured to show in the validation, now there is no limit to the allowed services to show.  

Group Notes

  • For myAvatar and CT|One users, we've added the ability to configure the group note show status with more than one note type. This configuration lives in the Group Note Type configuration display and allows Bells administrators to set up more than one note type or template for the group note. When configured, as users start a group note they will need to select which note type is appropriate for each practitioner in the group note. 

 

Scribbles

  • Corrected a bug in the shared scribble editor causing the cursor to navigate unexpectedly when editing the scribble. 

Drop-Ins

  • Fixed a bug when using drop-ins that include the placeholder options.

Custom Note Sections

  • Addressed a bug in the custom note section configuration when a single choice question is imported from the EHR incorrectly setting it as a drop-down instead of the default radio button format. 
  • Fixed an issue in the way custom note sections were being rendered when paragraph breaks were used. 

User Management

  • Addressed an issue for organizations with large amount of users that was causing the user management export to not show data as expected.

Summary

  • Introducing native language translation for progress notes! 
  • Within group notes, updated the labeling from Therapist to Practitioner. 
  • Added a new validation for Location.
  • Assorted bug fixes. 

Progress Notes

  • Introducing native language translation for progress notes! We've added a new option to text progress note sections and long text custom note section fields. There is a new icon in the toolbar of the field on the far right side to turn on native language mode. This allows users to write note content in their native language and then translate it to English before signing the note. 
  • Within group notes, updated the labeling from Therapist to Practitioner. 

Validations

  • Added a new validation for Location. Much like the program selection validation, the location validation will prevent the start of note if the location doesn't align with the selected service. 

 

Audit Review

  • Corrected a bug in the overlap functionality of the Audit Review flow causing notes to show as overlap unexpectedly. 

Patients

  • Fixed a bug in the group note flow incorrectly handling inactive patients. 

Note Templates

  • Addressed a bug in note templates not saving a checkbox being checked.

Summary

  • Enhanced custom note section filters with a new filter for Location and Place of Service (where applicable).
  • Updated the custom note section and note type previews to allow users to collapse the patient information and filters in the right side to see more of the note output. 
  • Updated the Service Type field in the Session Information display when notes are started to show up to ten services instead of the previous eight.  
  • Added the To-Do icon to the format bar for Scribbles only. 
  • Corrected the hover tooltip on Group Notes when adding a patient or therapist to the group after the note is started. 
  • For myAvatar users, enhanced the Group Displays from the Patient List and the Group Note Types to include the Group ID.
  • Updated the prompt to change service type validations styling so the buttons showing the available service types are no longer getting cut off. 
  • Added a new option type for the Missing Information validation to Warn at the Start of Note.
  • Added the ability for Bells administrators to clear sync issue notes.

Custom Note Sections

  • Enhanced custom note section filters with a new filter for Location and Place of Service (where applicable). The new filter is available at the question level in the right pane as well as at the answer level in the filters hyperlink per answer option.

  • Corrected the hover tooltip on Group Notes when adding a patient or therapist to the group after the note is started. Previously the tooltip said Add Patient, now it shows as Manage Group
  • For myAvatar users, enhanced the Group Displays from the Patient List and the Group Note Types to include the Group ID. 

Validations

  • Updated the prompt to change service type validations styling so the buttons showing the available service types are no longer getting cut off. 
  • Added a new option type for the Missing Information validation to Warn at the Start of Note. This will present a warning once the note type is selected that the patient is missing an active diagnosis. This will show based on the selected service type. 

Administrator Configuration

  • Updated the note type section Preview to allow users to collapse the patient information and filters in the right side to see more of the note output.
  • Added the ability for Bells administrators to clear sync issue notes. 
  • Enhanced the progress note goal section with the ability to only require the goal section when the patient on the note has goals/objectives to select. On the Note Type editor in the Goals section we've removed the Required toggle and replaced it with a new drop down. The values in the drop down are Required, Required when present and Not required. 

 

Group Notes

  • For myAvatar users, corrected a bug in the Group Note start note display preventing users from changing the primary therapist for the notes.

Administrator Configuration

  • Fixed a bug as part of the Note Type Preview for the new Date and Date/Time past and future date handling.

Custom Note Sections

  • Updated the Filters hyperlink at the answer option level to update when filters have been configured for the answer. When filters are added for the answer the hyperlink will update to “Has Filters”. If no filters are added for the answer, the hyperlink will continue to show as “Filters”.
  • Added a new configuration for Date and Date/Time question types to control the types of dates allowed for the Note. Users can now specify future dates only, past dates only or allow all dates. This date is based on the Session date for the note. 

 

Placeholders

  • Corrected a bug for Single Choice Option placeholders showing the incorrect display when used in a note. 

Sessions/Progress Notes

  • Fixed a bug causing Service Types to not populate when starting sessions. 

Configuration

  • Addressed an issue as part of Note Type configuration, incorrectly setting the Similarity Check toggle.

Summary

  • Added and enhanced question types for Custom Note Sections. This update includes Header, Content and an updated Instructions question type. 
  • Updated the list of relationships for signatures to include Authorized Representative and School Staff. 
  • Enhanced group note capability to be able to override the Service Type per session status in the group. 
  • Updated verbiage throughout the application from Service Location to Location. 
  • Assorted bug fixes. 

Custom Note Sections

  • Added a new header question type to Custom Note Sections. This question type allows you to group questions under a heading. If no questions within the header (before the next header) are answered, the header will not show in the note output. 
  • Added a new question type to Custom Note Sections called Content. Content questions are intended as pre-defined note narrative text and is forced into the EHR narrative. As part of this, for pre-existing Instruction question types that were set to Include in EHR Narrative off will be migrated to Content question types. 
  • Updated the Instructions question type for Custom Note Sections. The use for instructions has not changed, but we are forcing the setting for Include in EHR narrative to be off and disabled. Instruction question text will never be included in the narrative moving forward. Instruction questions that were set with the Include in EHR Narrative to off were kept as Instruction questions. 

Signatures

  • Updated the list of relationships for signatures to include Authorized Representative and School Staff. 

Group Notes

  • Enhanced group note capability to be able to override the Service Type per session status (No Show or Cancelled) from the show session status for the group. In the Group Summary there is a new toggle setting to Override Service Type that allows group note writers to override that service for no show or cancelled group sessions. 

Application 

  • Updated verbiage throughout the application for Service Location to Location. 

 

Placeholders

  • Corrected a bug for Single Choice Option placeholders showing the incorrect display when used in a scribble or note. 
  • Fixed a bug not handling placeholders correctly in Scribbles and notes. 
  • Improved the PatientNoun placeholder handling in scribbles.

Signatures

  • Corrected a bug for myEvolv signatures that was incorrectly retaining the signature. Signatures for myEvolv should always be a new signature each time.

  • Introducing Patient Signatures for CT|One and myEvolv users. 
  • For myAvatar users, updated the Progress Note Goals section so that objectives and interventions that are associated directly to a problem can be selected.

Patient Signatures

  • Introducing Patient Signatures for CT|One and myEvolv users. Patient, guardian or additional signatures can be applied to note types and used in the progress notes. With this feature we're also adding the Patient View, this allows you to set what sections or questions in the note show in a patient view. When signatures are configured for the note, the patient view is shown for the patient to review the necessary information prior to applying their signature. 

Progress Notes

  • For myAvatar users, updated the Progress Note Goals section so that objectives and interventions that are associated directly to a problem can be selected. 

Report Emails

  • Updated report emails to include a new tracking ID to assist with troubleshooting.

  • Enhanced the note type editor to include new Preview functionality.
  • Corrected a bug for group appointments not appropriately being tagged as external when notes are completed in the EHR.
  • For myEvolv users, fixed a bug when importing Test narrative long text types into Bells showing as short text. 

 

Note Type Configuration

  • Enhanced the note type editor to include new Preview functionality. Just like in custom note sections, as you build your note types, you can preview the functionality during the configuration without having to test the note in a patient chart. This will keep you in the configuration display for more efficient note type creation and editing.

  • Removed the ability to turn off expansions from automatically expanding. Moving forward expansions will always expand, the setting is no longer available in the application.

Validations

  • Updated the handling for Validations with the option of “Prompt to change service type” to better handle the change of the service, the messaging is now clearer to the user and the work flow is more user friendly. 

 

 

Progress Notes

  • Corrected the updated sign note display when in dark mode.

The progress note sign note display now includes rotating images and messaging based on the session to sign time as well as metrics for the note being signed.

  • Corrected the Overlap Note check to not consider notes to be overlapping when start/end time are the same or within 2 minutes of another note.

Audit Review

  • Updated the Audit Summary report display to better align with the Audit Review display. When a row is clicked in the report, the right pane extends to show the Similar note and overlap note details for that row. 
  • Changed the Overlap Note check to no longer consider No Show or Cancelled notes in the check. Moving forward only notes with the Show session status will be included in the check. 
  • Corrected the Overlap Note check to not consider a note to be overlapping if either the start or end time are exactly the same as another note or within 2 minutes.  

 

Custom Note Sections

  • Fixed a bug in custom note sections that utilize check box question types not including the output for the check box question type when checked in a note. 

Application

  • Corrected a selection bug throughout the application where Add All or Remove All functionality is in place clearing previously selected values unexpectedly when remove was used.

  • Enhanced the export and email attachment files from reports to include the applied filters for the data.

Progress Notes 

  • For myAvatar users, added a new section for progress notes for Add-On services. The new section, called Add-On, can be added to note types and can be configured to be required. When used in the progress note the user is presented with fields for the Add-On Service as well as the duration for that service. Additionally, users can include a comment per add-on service added to the note. 

Reports

  • Enhanced the export and email attachment files of reports for Bells to include the filters applied to the data in the report export/email. The filters applied will show at the top of the exported csv file and the email attachment. 

Custom Note Sections

  • Updated custom note section configuration to better handle per question validation for performance and user experience. 

 

Progress Notes

  • Corrected a bug in the right pane of the progress note editor for Session to Sign time not updating minutes as expected.

Audit Review

  • Enhanced the Audit Review setting on the Note Type configuration display. When toggled on, the percentage now defaults to 80% but is still editable. Also added a hover tooltip explaining the Audit Review functionality and how to enable it.

Audit Review

  • Introducing the new Audit Review display. Note types can now be configured to check for similar notes. Similarity is determined by a percentage configuration on the note type and is turned on per Text section in the note with a toggle. Bells administrators and supervisors have access to a new audit display from the left navigation bar that shows when similar note content is detected and is within the configured similarity percentage. This audit display also shows notes with overlapping session time notes. There is a corresponding report called Audit Summary that can be emailed and exported. 

Unsigned Note Reminder email

  • Updated the Unsigned Note Reminder email link to take users directly to the Unsigned Notes Report in Bells. 

 

Clinical Recommendations

  • Corrected a bug allowing clinical recommendations to be configured for users who are not Bells enabled. 

Monthly Usage Email 

  • Updated the Monthly Usage email with some verbiage updates and display changes. 

Supervisor Dashboard

  • Fixed a display bug in the supervisor dashboard stopping the background box behind the Session Calendar display. 

Goal Tracking

  • Corrected a bug in the goal tracking workflow allowing the place of service to be removed and still allowing the note to be started and signed. 

Expansions

  • Fixed a minor display issue with auto-complete suggestions related to expansions.

Summary

  • Added a new email for users to see their Monthly Usage in Bells. 
  • Updated the Unsigned Note Reminder email to include group notes in the count of unsigned notes. 
  • Assorted bug fixes. 

Monthly Usage Email

  • Added a new email for users to see their Monthly Usage in Bells. Bells Administrators can configure the email under the organization preferences. The configuration includes the ability to turn the reminder on or off for all users in the organization. This email includes a breakdown of metrics for the user for the previous month and will be sent to the user on the first of the month when turned on.

Unsigned Note Reminder

  • Updated the Unsigned Note Reminder email to include group notes in the count of unsigned notes.

  • Corrected a bug in the Unsigned Note Reminder email that was including Not Started note sessions for the user in the count.

Summary

  • Added a new email reminder that can be sent to users with late unsigned notes.

Unsigned Note Reminder 

  • Added a new email reminder that can be sent to users with late unsigned notes. Bells Administrators can configure the email under the organization preferences. The configuration includes the ability to turn the reminder on or off. When set on, settings for the frequency of the reminder show to further configure the email. The email let's the user know the number of unsigned notes and directs them to Bells to access their notes. Unlike other emails from Bells, this email does not include password functionality or any attachments since it's a reminder to access the notes in Bells. 

 

Custom Note Sections

  • Corrected a bug in custom note sections with conditional questions during configuration the selection display was not displaying the selected answer option until reopening the display. Additionally it was selecting unexpected answer options. 

Note Type Configuration

  • Fixed an issue in the Note Type configuration display around the archive and restore functions. The two functions were not working consistently. Clicking archive or restore on a note type will automatically archive or restore the note type without having to click save.
  • Corrected an issue that was hiding toggle labels on the note type configuration for pull forward.

Summary

  • Removed the Scribble default header formatting from the main pane of scribbles. 
  • Assorted bug fixes. 

Scribbles

  • Based on client feedback and issues encountered, we've removed the default header format in the main pane of scribbles. The first line of text in the scribble will still show bolded on the card in the scribble list on the left. You can still format a header in a scribble. This will prevent entire scribbles being created in the header formatting and being added to notes which was causing an issue during the sync of the note. 

 

Progress Notes

  • Corrected a bug in the overlap note check when signing a note not taking the gaps between session time intervals into account.

  • Assorted bug fixes. 

 

Progress Notes

  • For myEvolv Bells administrators, we've added the ability to delete signed notes. The trash can icon will display on signed note previews for myEvolv admin, a prompt will display to make sure the user wants to continue with deleting the signed note and includes handling for when the note exists in the EHR. 

 

Group Notes

  • Corrected a bug in the group display of the Patients section that was not showing the group topics icon in the display grid until after a group note was started. 
  • For myAvatar users, fixed a bug in the groups display grid showing the incorrect hover text for group topics. 
  • Fixed an issue with Group Note session information override incorrectly handling the stop time for the note. 
  • For myAvatar and myEvolv users, corrected a bug in group notes when a note is marked as reviewed not handling the doc routing display as expected. 

Progress Notes

  • Fixed a bug in the progress note editor, when the user opened and closed the left pane of the note, the text fields within the note would get cut off on the right.

Summary

  • Enhanced the Sign Note functionality to include an overlapping note check. 
  • Added preview functionality within the progress note editor.
  • Incorporated functionality for the Session Time section on note types for administrators to configure the number of minutes prior to the sign of the note that users can sign.
  • Added the ability to clear the note type and template selections on the group note type configuration. 
  • Updated Goal Tracking for organizations utilizing the Long Term Goal/Short Term Goal by allowing users to track against the objectives instead of the short term goal.
  • Assorted bug fixes. 

Progress Notes

  • Enhanced the Sign Note functionality to include an overlapping note check. When a users clicks to sign, Bells will check for any overlapping notes for the same patient or user and present the user with the overlaps. Users can then correct the overlap or continue with sign. 
  • Added preview functionality within the progress note editor. There will be a new preview icon in the bottom left of the note. When clicked the user can preview the note including any custom note section output like it would show in the base EHR. This will allow users to review their note prior to signing and the note syncing to the EHR. 

Administrator Configuration

  • Incorporated functionality for the Session Time section on note types for administrators to configure the number of minutes prior to the sign of the note that users can sign. By default this is set to 0 minutes to align with current functionality, but can be updated to provide flexibility to your note authors. Bells will still prevent signing the note prior to the start time of the note. 
  • Added the ability to clear the note type and template selections on the group note type configuration. There's a new button for “Clear All”. When clicked all selections for notes types and templates will be cleared. This will allow you to sunset a group from being used in Bells. 

Goal Tracking

  • Updated Goal Tracking for organizations utilizing the Long Term Goal/Short Term Goal by allowing users to track against the objectives instead of the short term goal. Short term goals are now listed as part of the long term goal and the objective selected is shown as the data being tracked. 

 

Progress Notes

  • Corrected a bug in the application preventing users from starting a second note without having to refresh or log out/back in to the application. 

Supervisor Dashboard

  • For CT|One users, fixed a bug on the Supervisor dashboard and similar displays that was not filtering out staff that are no longer with the organization. This was causing incorrect counts between Bells and CT|One.

Progress Notes

  • Added configuration on diagnosis sections in the note type editor to “Include in EHR Note Narrative”. When toggled on, diagnosis that are selected in the note will show in the note narrative in the EHR. When toggled off, the Diagnosis will follow the same functionality it does today and continue to flow to the structured field in the EHR and/or note narrative depending on how many selections are made in the note.

  • For myAvatar users, enhanced the Diagnosis selection display to include a new toggle for Include Historical. 
    • Also updated the default primary selection of diagnosis to default select non-historical primary diagnosis.
  • In the diagnosis display, updated the sort to show primary diagnosis first in the list. 
  • For CT|One and myAvatar Bells administrators, we've added the ability to delete signed notes. 

Progress Notes

  • For myAvatar users, enhanced the Diagnosis selection display to include a new toggle for Include Historical. When selected the historical diagnosis for the patient will display for selection. Also updated the default primary selection of diagnosis to default select non-historical primary diagnosis.

Summary

  • For myEvolv users, we've enhanced the Patient List toggle for My Patients vs All Patients to be a selection menu between All Patients, Direct Assigned and Workgroup. This selection will filter the patients in the patient list.

  • For CT|One users, corrected the ability to be able to start a note for a cancelled appointment. 

Group Notes

  • For myAvatar users, we updated the sync logic behind group notes when patients are added to the group in Bells to prevent sync issues.

Custom Note Sections

  • Enhanced Custom Note Sections to include filters for answer options and expanded the filter options at the question and answer levels. Added new filters for Program, Service Type and Insurance for CT|One and myAvatar users. These filters can be applied to the question as a whole, or on individual answer options for single and multi choice question types. Each answer option will include a Filters hyperlink. When clicked you can configure the answer filters. The question level filters will be in the right hand pane of the display. The Custom Note Section preview was updated to handle the new filters. Progress notes that use the custom note section will filter out the question/answers as applicable based on the patient, program, service type or insurance. 

Pull Forward

  • Updated the Pull Forward functionality to allow admins to configure to ignore the service type in the rule. This will allow you to configure pull forward in note types or custom note sections to pull forward based on the patient and note type only, and can also include the author in the rule. 
  • As part of the Pull Forward update the configuration in the note type and custom note section editors has been updated to include a dropdown selection to select which rule to follow, such as "same service, same author" or "any service, any author".
  • Additionally, we've added functionality so that the Diagnosis, Goals or Problem List sections can also be pulled forward. The effective and expiration dates for the diagnosis, goal or problem will be taken into account for the pull forward. 

Note Displays

  • Updated the Session column on the Unsigned Note Report and the Open Session tab of the Chart displays to include a filter that allows you to toggle between filtering for the Service Type or Service Location for the records in the displays. 

 

Progress Notes 

  • Corrected No Show and Cancelled progress notes where a session time section is included, so show the session time entries in the preview, print and print preview displays.

Custom Note Sections

  • Introducing the Custom Note Section Calculated functionality. We've added two new question types to custom note sections. First is the Numeric question type which allows you to enter a number value within your custom note section. Second is the Calculated question type which allows you to select questions in the custom note section to add or multiply together. As part of this we've also added the ability to set a numeric value on single and multiple choice question type answer options. You can also calculate a duration based on two date time or time question types. 
  • Enhanced the Custom Note Section sub-question functionality. As part of the enhancement we changed how sub-questions are configured in custom notes sections. Previously, you would set up the parent question and then associate or add child/sub-questions to the parent question. With this update, you set up questions and then can link the questions that you want to enable based on answer selections accordingly. Don't worry, if you had sub-questions previously configured in your custom note section, we've transferred them to the new set up already. As part of this change, the options sub-menu on answer options has been removed since it is no longer needed. 

Progress Notes

  • For myEvolv users, we added a new setting in the Note Type editor for the Goals section that will allow you to include the progress note Goals selections in the note narrative for the EHR in the case where you do not have the fields available in myEvolv for the Goals to show in the note.

This section also acts similar to the Goals section and lets you add comments for each problem. You can also add additional problems as part of the Bells progress note. 

Users

  • Enhanced the User Management display to remember the filters set for pending/active and the permissions columns. When you leave the display and come back the display will remember the filters that were set.

There are two new placeholders, one for single-choice and one for multi-choice.

  • Updated group notes to allow you to add therapists to the note after the note is started. The Add Patients display was updated to include a new tab to manage adding therapists. Once added patients can be assigned to the new therapist within the group note editor.

  • Added a new report for Sync Issues. This report mimics the existing Sync Issue tab from the user's chart. This report includes the ability to export and email the report. 

Custom Note Sections

  • Added a new question type for Yes/No. The existing Yes/No question type was changed to Checkbox but it's functionality did not change. The new Yes/No question type will default with the answer options of Yes/No and cannot be changed. The output for these values can still be altered. Additionally the Yes/No question type can have sub-questions added to each answer option. 

Group Notes

  • Updated group notes so that the group summary for the group and at the individual note header will display the date for the session. 

 

Admin and Supervisor Dashboards

  • Added a tooltip for the Active vs. Enabled widgets to indicate that the metric is not affected by the filters. 

Custom Note Sections

  • Corrected display bugs around the output fields that were moved to the main custom note section question configuration display.

User Profile

  • Introduced new card displays for users and patients. Clicking the avatar for a user or patient will show an enhanced card display showing additional details for the user or patient. Note, this is not everywhere a user or patient avatar shows in the application. 

Progress Notes

  • Updated Group Notes with No Show or Cancelled show statuses to include the ability to override the group summary information. This mimics the show status override but does not include the session time as we don't utilize session time for no show and cancel group notes. 
  • Added the enrollment/program details for the note to the signed note preview header. 

Reports

Goal Tracking

Goal Tracking allows users to track levels of assistance, prompts and if the selected goals/objectives were achieved, as-well-as adding comments for the tracking. This can be done with multiple patients in a session. Additionally, enhanced the Session section and the Patient details displays to include Goal Tracking session details. There is configuration on the Note Type to select what notes are available for Goal Tracking. There are new displays under the Chart and Patient Chart sections.

Progress Notes

  • Added a new organization-level preference to determine if the progress note session date/time will default to the current date/time or allow the user to select the date/time for the note without defaulting. 
  • For myAvatar users, in Group Notes we added the program field selection per note. 

Custom Note Sections

  • In custom note section configuration, added to the Preview display the name of the custom note section being previewed.

    • For myAvatar, when starting a note from an appointment, Bells will reconfirm that a note does not exist in myAvatar.  If a note exists in Bells, a prompt will display and the user will not be allowed to start the note.

    • Bells Administrators can now configure note types that use a session time section so that the session time defaults to Time Increments or Duration.  The default is Time Increments to maintain backward compatibility.

Approver (doc) Routing for myAvatar staff

  • myAvatar Approver (doc) routing is now integrated with Bells!  This feature allows staff to indicate additional approvers for an individual note when signing the note in Bells.  The feature also respects when an approver is required in myAvatar.  Note Preview and Print views include the Approval Routing details when applicable.

  • Enhanced notifications to include a new notification when sync issues occur for progress notes. 

 

Group Notes

  • Corrected a bug for group notes when starting a group note from an appointment causing the Service Code to not auto-populate.

Group Administrator     
For a group note, allows a therapist or non-therapist to administor the note:

  • Start a group note
  • Set the date, time, service location and service type for a group
  • Modify the group summary
  • Assign/remove therapists in the group
  • Assign/remove patients in the group
  • Change patient show status
  • Reassign the therapist assigned to a patient
  • Delete incomplete notes in the group
  • Delete an entire group note if there are no signed patient notes in the group

Bulk Sign 

  • When a note is incomplete in Bulk Sign, clicking to edit the note will open the note with any missing required sections flagged with red text.

Evidence-Based Practices 

  • For myAvatar users, in the Note Type editor, do not allow the Evidence-Based Practice label to be editable.

Progress Notes

  • Allow the user to select past enrollments that have been closed out.  The user should be allowed to select past enrollments as long as they were effective on the chosen Visit Date.
